SEAL America -- Day 62

Columbia, South Carolina: Last Saturday, we SEALED the South Carolina capitol with prayer and the Blood of Jesus. It was a powerful time.

Consider this: The blood of Jesus is eternal, and it is upon us, because we are washed in the Blood of the Lamb. After we received the Body and the Blood of the Lord, we laid our hands upon the State House.

What was transferred by faith and prayer, and by the laying on of our hands, is perpetual: The rain can't wash it away; the wind can't blow it away; the sun can't bake it away. The Columbia State house has the blood of the Lamb upon it -- forever. Likewise, eight other state houses have been consecrated. As long as those buildings stand, they who pass through their portals will be experience a divine presence. It's unavoidable (if you truly believe in the power of the blood, then you know this is true).

What God is doing through SEAL America, doubtless, will influence our elected representatives and our state employees. This is not going to happen once, or twice, or even nine times; but fifty times -- in every State Capitol in America, plus Washington DC.

Praying for America
The West Virginia event is tomorrow. Pray with us as we lift the cup of blessing above the Capitol in Charleston. Forty-six events and forty-six weeks remain in the SEAL America Campaign -- National Communion 2008. Time is passing fast, and there is so much to be done. Please spread the word. Day 19 -- SEAL America (PM)

"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are..." (Exodus 12:13)

Today, believing-believers from different parts of Indiana and Michigan gathered at the Indiana State House. Most had never met; but they're all cut from the same bolt of cloth -- Spirit-lead people, every one.

In repressive countries, believing-believers meet in secret. Meeting places are randomly changed to avoid arrest and persecution. That's why they're called the underground church -- they're hidden. Many times, the only way believers can locate other believing-believers is by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is at work in America bringing believing-believers together -- not in secret; but openly. Nevertheless, it's the same drawing-power of the Holy Spirit at work. We attend different churches, we live in different towns, we are different generations; but we end up at the same place, for the same reason... to SEAL America with the Blood of the Lamb. It's always the believing-believers who respond. They recognize the hand of God at work.

The hand of God was upon our gethering in the Indiana State House. Each of us sensed the urgency of the call, and the importance of the act of lifting the Cup of Blessing above the Indiana Government House. The Blood of the Lamb was applied to doorposts of the State House. This Sate House will never be the same.

We have forty-seven States to go, plus the National Capitol. We are already headed towards Columbus, Ohio -- the next capitol on The SEAL America Campaign. I can't wait to meet the ones who will answer the call to SEAL the Ohio State House; but I will know them when I see them.

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. Though you may not stand with us physically, you stand with us spiritually, and you participate in other ways: you pray, you spread the word, and you contribute financially. You're part of the New Move. Thank you for doing your part to keep it moving.

LAST DAY OF 2007

Tomorrow, is the first day of 2008. Technically, I launched the SEAL America Campaign, when I left Tulsa at 5:00 a.m. last Friday, enroute to Madison, WI.

This makes for good war stories: Snow is falling, and the weather channel predicts more of the same, and I'm traveling by motor coach.

There are just four working days before the first State Capitol Communion service, and a blizzard of unfinished business is swirling about my head. This is when I am tempted to ask God whay he gave me this assignment.

I'm thinking about what my Mentor, Lester Sumrall, often said, "God never called me to do anything I could do. Everything he called me to do was impossible for me to do." (Doc, Thank you for being an example in my life).

I'll preach tonight, then Wednesday, host a fellowship breakfast Thursday, and preach again Friday night -- all the while, I'll be working the phones...

Jeremy Barancik, my new assistant, will fly in on Wednesday. I suspect he doesn't really know what he's signed up for: Fifty-one weeks of marathon ministry!

What is the SEAL America Campaign?

The Holy Spirit has given us, at the Commonwealth of Christ, a new assignment: beginning in January, 2008, The Commonwealth of Christ will conduct communion services in every State Capitol in the USA, plus the USA territories, and the District of Columbia. We call it the SEAL America Campaign.

This assignment is definitely from the Lord -- it's a huge. This is much bigger than anything we would have conceived, and it will take the power of the Holy Spirit, and the help of an army willing Christians to get it done.
